Scientology Volunteer Ministers Bring the Yellow Tent to Milan

MILAN — 22 January 2026 — Scientology’s Volunteer Ministers have brought their distinctive Yellow Tent to Milan, offering a street-level point for hands-on assistance and listening support, alongside simple “Tools for Life” techniques that can be applied to daily problems. More details are available here: Scientology Europe report.
Previously deployed in cities including New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Naples, the Yellow Tent is designed to let residents speak with trained volunteers and learn simple steps for communication breakdowns, workplace stress and conflict resolution, as well as support after personal emergencies.
Volunteer Ministers are community volunteers trained through 19 introductory “Tools for Life” courses covering communication, study and learning methods, interpersonal relations and problem-solving. The approach is eu news now personal and practical: understand what the person faces and provide an actionable technique.
In Italy, Volunteer Ministers have supported communities during the 2009 L’Aquila earthquake and the 2012 Emilia-Romagna earthquakes, and have also assisted during flooding in the Marche region (2022) and Romagna (2023), working with local services and civil-protection partners to help clear homes and public spaces.
In Milan, activity expanded during the pandemic period with sanitisation efforts and support for families in need. Organisers say volunteers then continued with community care work, including more than 160 consecutive Saturdays of clean-up and assistance, extending across all nine municipal areas of the city, while also contributing to solidarity efforts such as supporting aid shipments to Ukraine.
Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and the United Nations, said: “Across Europe, we see that communities become stronger when citizens feel equipped to help one another in practical ways—calmly, respectfully and without prejudice. Their work reflects a civic principle: support starts with listening and providing tools that help people regain the ability to act and contribute.”
Further information on the free courses and local support is available at www.ministrivolontari.it and through the Church of Scientology of Milan (Viale Fulvio Testi 327).
